That blast from Pat Burrell put the Phils up 3 to nothing in the top of the first, and they never looked back, winning 8 to 4 over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Park.

Chase Utley drove in three runs with a pair of homers. Utley hit a two-run homer off Josh Fogg, who lasted only four innings in his Reds debut.

He added a solo shot off left-hander Jeremy Affeldt for his 100th career homer. The power-hitting second baseman has been at his best against the Reds lately. He's 13-for-22 in his last six games against them

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Dale Earnhardt Junior is the third Hendrick driver to earn a pole this season as he tries to be the first member of the Hendrick team to win a race. Earnhardt ran a fast lap of 190.907 miles-per-hour at Texas Motor Speedway to edge out Carl Edwards for the pole in Sunday's Samsung 500.
