R PHILS MEDIA DAY

The Reading Phillies returned from spring training with youth and optimism for the 2009 season, after losing 89 games in 2008. The annual media day was held at First Energy Stadium Wednesday, and first year skipper and Upper Dauphin High School graduate Steve Roadcap says the ball club is young:

Phils second baseman Chase Utley walks on the tying run to make it 10-10 in the bottom of the 7th. They went on to win 12-11 against the Atlanta Braves.
