Orwigsburg All Stars were down 6 nothing going into the home half of the sixth inning, when their bats came to life. Thanks to clutch hitting, and several walks given up by the Greencastle All Stars, Orwigsburg rallied. But, they fell just short, losing by a score of 6 to 4.

Since the tournament is double-elimination, Orwigsburg moves into the losers bracket, and will play against Tunkhannock, in Tunkhannock tonight at 5:30. All the action can be heard on AM 1360 WPPA with the pre-game beginning at 5:20pm.

SEATTLE - The Seattle SuperSonics have been sold to anOklahoma City investment group headed by businessman Clay Bennett.He says the team's future in Seattle would depend on whether theSonics can reach an agreement with the city to replace or renovateKeyArena. Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett says the sale of theSuperSonics does not necessarily mean the team will relocate.

UNIONDALE, N.Y. - The New York Islanders have changedgeneral managers, just over a month after Neil Smith was hired toreplace Mike Milbury. Smith was fired Tuesday and replaced bybackup goaltender Garth Snow. Islanders owner Charles Wang said ina statement Smith told him he had difficulty working within theteam's revamped front office.

SECAUCUS, N.J. - Bruce Arena has been hired as head coachof the New York Red Bulls, four days being let go as head coach ofthe U-S national soccer team. Arena led the U-S to the 2002 WorldCup quarterfinals, but the team went just 0-2-and-1 at this year'sCup in Germany. He takes over a team that's last in the M-L-SEastern Conference at 3-6-and-8.

L'ALPE-D'HUEZ, France - American Floyd Landis has reclaimedthe leader's yellow jersey in the 15th stage of the Tour de France.Landis finished fourth in Tuesday's stage but moved ten secondsahead of Spain's Oscar Pereiro (peh-REHR'-oh) for the overall lead.Luxembourg's Frank Schleck won the 116-mile stage.

DALLAS - Dallas Cowboys safety Keith Davis has checked outof the hospital and is optimistic about making the start oftraining camp late next week. The 27-year old Davis was shot in thehead and thigh while driving on a Dallas highway around 5 a-m onSunday. This marked the second time in three years that Davis hasbeen shot a few weeks before the start of training camp.
