The Associated Press announced the Class AAA First and Second Team All State players Tuesday. Included in the selections are the following area players:
Pottsville Crimson Tide Offensive Lineman Brad Hallick and Special Teams Player Thomas McFarland.

Second Team Honors went to:
Offensive Lineman Gary Bardzak of Pottsville
Offensive Lineman Matt Stankiewitch (stan-kev-itch) of Blue Mountain
Player of the Year is Drew Astorino, who led the General McLane Lancers to the Triple A State Championship over Pottsville, 28-23. The Coach of the Year is Jim Wells of General McLane.
The Associated Press Pennsylvania Class AAA all-state high
school football team was chosen in statewide balloting by sports writers and broadcasters.
