PENN STATE BLUE AND WHITE GAME
Seventy six thousand hungry Penn State football fans flocked to Beaver Stadium Saturday afternoon to get a first glimpse of the Nittany Lions for the annual Blue White scrimmage. The Lions return 37 lettermen this season, but the game was also an opportunity for the Penn State coaching staff to see some of the underclassmen in live game action. Among them is former Blue Mountain High School standout, guard Matt Stankiewitch (stan-kev-itch). He summed up the day and spring practice:

The Nittany Lions will open the regular season on September 5th at home against Akron, on WPPA and T102 Sports.
