(AP) - Dominic Cheek scored 17 points, CoreyStokes added 16 and No. 4 Villanova rolled to its eighth straightwin with a 94-68 victory over reeling Rutgers on Wednesday night.Corey Fisher added 15 points as the Wildcats, who are now 17-1overall and 6-0 in the Big East -- their first 6-0 start in theconference since the 1981-82 season.
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Chris Wright scored 27 points and No. 12Georgetown used a late run to end No. 9 Pittsburgh's eight-gamewinning streak with a 74-66 victory Wednesday night. Gilbert Brownscored a career-high 20 points for Pitt, which saw its 31-game homewinning streak snapped.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Ryan Brooks scored 22 points, Lavoy Allenhad 16 and No. 16 Temple beat Xavier in a matchup of Atlantic 10unbeatens, 77-72 on Wednesday night. The Owls won their fifthstraight game to improve to 16-3 overall and 4-0 in the Atlantic10.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger turneddown a chance to play in the Pro Bowl because of a right shoulderproblem that developed late in the season. Roethlisberger was thefirst alternate at AFC quarterback and would have gone in place ofthe Patriots' Tom Brady, who pulled out of the game.
CLEVELAND (AP) - New Browns general manager Tom Heckert hashired Jon Sandusky, formerly with him in Philadelphia, asCleveland's director of player personnel. Sandusky spent nineseasons with the Eagles, serving the past two as the club's propersonnel director.
