KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - It didn't take Southern California long to find a replacement for Pete Carroll, who has moved to the NFL Seattle Seahawks. Lane Kiffin, an assistant for six seasons under Carroll, is returning to Southern California after one season as head coach of Tennessee and two with the Oakland Raiders.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Lane Kiffin is part of a package deal returning to Southern California. His father, the respected defensive coach Monte Kiffin, and longtime USC assistant Ed Orgeron
also will leave Tennessee to join the 34-year-old Kiffin at USC.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Eric Bledsoe scored a career-high 25 points, Patrick Patterson added 15 and second-ranked Kentucky stayed unbeaten with an 86-75 victory over Florida to go to
17-and-0. Super freshman John Wall chipped in 19, including Kentucky's final seven points.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - In the college basketball upset of the night, Evan Turner scored 23 of his career-high 32 points in the second half and Ohio State rallied from a 13-point deficit to beat sixth-ranked Purdue 70-66. Turner scored 14 of Ohio State's final 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - The NBA champion L.A. Lakers lost their fourth straight road game in San Antonio, 105-85. Tim Duncan had 25 points and 13 rebounds and Tony Parker added 22 points.
