WASHINGTON (AP) - Alex Ovechkin scored the hat trick andassisted on the winning goal in overtime as the Washington Capitalsdefeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4. The Caps won their 14thstraight game, three shy of the league record set by the Penguinsin 1993. Ovechkin now has a league-high 42 goals. Sidney Crosby andJordan Staal each scored twice for Pittsburgh.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Flyers will be back inaction Monday night against the New Jersey Devils. The Flyers arereturning to their home ice after losing two of three on the road,including Saturday's 2-1 loss to Minnesota. The Devils are comingoff a loss Saturday to the Rangers.

HOUSTON (AP) - Philadelphia 76ers coach Eddie Jordan says thereis "no timetable" for Allen Iverson's return to the team. Iversonhas missed three straight games because of his daughter's illness.The Sixers have won all three games, extending their winning streakto four games.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Darrin Govens scored 22 points as SaintJoseph's defeated St. Bonaventure 78-71, ending a three-game losingstreak. The Hawks scored 24 points off 22 turnovers. Idris Hilliardadded 19 points. The Hawks trailed 55-52 with 8:54 to go, andscored eight straight. The Hawks would lead by no less than fivepoints the rest of the way.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Robert Morris enters Monday night's road gameagainst Pitt with one of the longest current winning streaks inDivision I men's basketball. The Colonials have won nine in a row,but keeping the streak alive could prove challenging. Robert Morrishas never beaten Pitt in 27 meetings.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - In women's basketball, SamanthaPrahalis had 26 points as Number 8 Ohio State overcame a 15-pointdeficit to beat Penn State 86-73. A 3-point shooting barrage keptthe Buckeyes in the game after the team committed a season-high 25turnovers, including 18 in the first half.
