PHOENIX (AP) - Jason Richardson scored 24 points, Steve Nash had20 and the Phoenix Suns beat the Philadelphia 76ers 106-95 lastnight. Amare Stoudemire added 22 points for the Suns, Channing Fryehad 14 and Robin Lopez scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds. AndreIguodala led the 76ers with 20 points.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Ramone Moore scored 13 points, Ryan Brooksadded 11 and Number 20 Temple held off Dayton, 49-41 last night.Lavoy Allen had nine points and 17 rebounds for the Owls, who moveinto a first-place tie with Richmond in the Atlantic conference.Chris Wright had 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead Dayton.

Dotelstrained a muscle on the left side of his upper body Sunday whilethrowing a bullpen session. The injury is not considered serious,but Dotel has been shut down for a few days as a precaution.
CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - The home of Major League Soccer expansionfranchise Philadelphia Union will bear the name of energy companyPPL. Team and company officials say the new stadium will be calledPPL Park under an 11-year, $20 million naming-rights deal. The dealwas announced yesterday at the site where the park is being builtin Chester, just south of Philadelphia.
