PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey
did not practice again Thursday because of the left ankle injury he
sustained during Sunday's AFC championship game victory over the
New York Jets. Pouncey said after the game that he intended on
playing in the Super Bowl, and was seen in a cast and on crutches
Wednesday.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Steel City can make a strong case for a
new nickname. City of Champions. The Steelers have won more Super
Bowls than any team in the NFL, the Penguins have reached the
Stanley Cup Finals twice in the last three seasons and Pitt has
developed into a Top 5 college basketball program.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Art museums are wagering loans of major works
of art based on the outcome of the Super Bowl. Milwaukee Art Museum
Director Daniel Keegan, an avid Packers fan, is betting "Boating
on the Yerres" by Gustave Caillebotte (ky-yuh-BUHT'). Carnegie
Museum of Art director Lynn Zelevansky is wagering "Bathers with
Crab," by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (ren'-WAH).

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The NFL is expecting a record crowd for
the first Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium. League spokesman Brian
McCarthy said Thursday an estimated total of 105,000 will attend
the February 6 game in Arlington, Texas. McCarthy said about 95,000
fans will be inside the stadium, along with about 5,000 media
members and staff.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says he isn't taking
sides when the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers meet
next month. During a wide-ranging interview Thursday on YouTube,
Obama said he has to stay, in his words, "absolutely neutral on
this one" and let the best team win.
