PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Phillies will be holding a
workout today in advance of the start of the National League
Division Series against the Colorado Rockies tomorrow afternoon.
The National League's top two power teams will mix it up in the
postseason for the second time in three years. Game time tomorrow
and Thursday will be 2:37 in the afternoon.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - As the Colorado Rockies open the playoffs in
Philadelphia tomorrow, they might be without the hottest pitcher in
baseball. Lefty Jorge De La Rosa will test his tight left groin in
a bullpen session today in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb has
returned to practice and is expected to start Sunday when the
Eagles host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McNabb has been out since
breaking his rib in the season opener. He missed two games before
the Eagles had their bye this past weekend.

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) - First LeBron James swore his love to
the Yankees and Cowboys. Now Shaquille O'Neal is siding with the
Steelers.Cleveland's newest superstar crossed enemy lines when he
tweeted "Let's go Steelers let's go" on his Twitter account after
Pittsburgh's 38-28 victory against San Diego Sunday night. O'Neal
acknowledges that he's a "bandwagon football fan."

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Duquesne University sophomore guard B.J.
Monteiro is facing charges in his native Connecticut that resulted
from the alleged theft of an iPod, a laptop computer and cash.
Police in Torrington, Conn., say the items stolen at an August
party, have a total value of $1,400. Monteiro and two others,
including one juvenile, turned themselves into police in Torrington
over the weekend.
