MILWAUKEE (AP) - Rookie Jrue Holiday had 15 points and sevenassists, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 101-86 win over theMilwaukee Bucks last night. Samuel Dalembert added 12 points and 10rebounds, Willie Green scored 16 and Andre Iguodala had 14 for theSixers. Jerry Stackhouse led the Bucks with 15 points.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Mike Knuble scored the decisive goal in thefourth round of the shootout Wednesday night, giving the WashingtonCapitals a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins last night.Alexander Semin and Eric Fehr scored about 2 minutes apart early inthe third period to give Washington the lead before Jordan Staal'sgoal sent the game into overtime.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin and Washington'sBrooks Laich missed last night's game between the Penguins andCapitals. Malkin sat out for the fourth time in five games becauseof a bruised right foot. Laich was out after being hit by a pucknear the eye during practice Tuesday.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Right-hander Tim Hudson pitched sixscoreless innings and Brian McCann hit two home runs to lead theAtlanta Braves to an 8-0 win over the Philadelphia Philliesyesterday. All three of the hits off Hudson - who hadreconstructive elbow surgery last season - were singles. He struckout four and walked two.

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - Victor Martinez, Bill Hall and MikeCameron each hit home runs off Pittsburgh left-hander Paul Maholmas the Boston Red Sox beat the Pirates 6-4 yesterday. Martinez hita two-run homer in the first, Hall hit a solo shot in the second,and Cameron added a solo shot in the fourth. Maholm had allowedjust one homer over his first four spring starts.

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A person familiar with the St. Louis Rams'player acquisition plans says reports that they're trying to getPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb are untrue. Thesource told the AP that media reports yesterday that the Rams hadoffered a second-round draft pick and safety Oshiomoghe Atogwe forMcNabb were unfounded.

ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia police aren't commenting on an attorney'sstatement that they've withdrawn a request for a DNA sample fromPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Ed Garland,Roethlisberger's lawyer, told The AP Tuesday that investigatorswithdrew the request a week ago. A woman has accused Roethlisbergerof sexual assault. He hasn't been charged.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Peter Nowak won a Major League Soccer Cup asa player for the expansion Chicago Fire in 1998. Repeating the featas a coach with the first-year Philadelphia Union won't be easy.The Union play the MLS opener at Seattle tonight, becoming theleague's 16th team.
