FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Upon arrival in Texas for Sunday's
Super Bowl, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says he is not
ruling out Pro Bowl center Maurkice (mahr-KEES') Pouncey for the
big game. The rookie is on crutches with a high ankle sprain
suffered in the Steelers' victory over the Jets in the AFC
Championship game and his status for the game will be decided later

DALLAS (AP) - Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy
half-jokingly apologized for bringing frigid Packers weather to
Dallas where cold conditions with a chance of light snow is
forecast for the Dallas area this week. The hardy Packers may even
practice indoors this week at a local high school, depending on the
weather.

DALLAS (AP) - Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu (poh-luh-MAH'-loo)
has won The Associated Press 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year
award, edging Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews. Polamalu received
17 votes from a nationwide panel of 50 media members who cover the
league, edging Matthews by two votes.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Chris Wright scored a season-high 24 points,
and No. 13 Georgetown overcame a major dose of Big East ugly to get
its fifth straight win, losing an 11-point second-half lead before
pulling out a 62-59 victory over No. 15 Louisville. The game
