PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 94-82 yesterday and remain unbeaten at home. Jrue Holiday scored 24 points and Andre Iguodala had 21 to help with the win. Everything is going right for the Sixers this season. They've won three straight, nine of 10 overall and already hold a four-game lead over the second-place New York Knicks in the Atlantic Division.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia 76ers forward Andre Iguodala is among the 20 finalists for the 2012 U.S. Olympic men's basketball team. The United States will announce the official 12-man team roster for the London Olympics later this year. Iguodala was a starter on the 2010 U.S. World Championship Team which won the gold medal in Turkey.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby will meet with a specialist this week because of lingering concussionlike symptoms. Crosby hasn't played since December 5th following a recurrence of the symptoms that sidelined him for more than 10 months last year.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press the Philadelphia Phillies and free-agent pitcher Joel Pineiro have agreed to a minor league contract. The person says the deal includes an invitation to major league camp for spring training.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — All-Star closer Joel Hanrahan has agreed to a $4.1 million, one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates and right-hander Charlie Morton agreed to one-year deal worth $2,445,000. The deals yesterday avoided salary arbitration.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Number 1 Syracuse beat Pittsburgh 71-63 last night to open the season with 20 straight wins. Dion Waiters had 16 points and Scoop Jardine had 12 points and 10 assists. The Orange set a school record for most consecutive victories to start a season. It was win Number 876 for coach Jim Boeheim.
