Andre Iguodala had 16 points, and EltonBrand added 12 for the Sixers. Jarrett Jack had 20 points, andChris Bosh had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Toronto.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Simon Gagne and Danny Briere scored in a1:16 span in the second period, and Michael Leighton made 27 savesin the Philadelphia Flyers' 3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafslast night. Jeff Carter scored his 30th goal to help the Flyersbreak a two-game losing streak in their first home game after theOlympic break.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Evgeni Malkin scored the go-ahead goal earlyin the third period after former linemate Pascal Dupuis tied it,and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 yesterday.Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 21 shots to help the Penguins endBoston's five-game road winning streak. Blake Wheeler scored forBoston on a second-period power play.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Boston Bruins center Marc Savard was carriedoff the ice on a stretcher after being leveled by Pittsburghforward Matt Cooke with 5:37 remaining in yesterday's game. Savardhad just taken a shot from above the circles when Cooke raised hisshoulder and hit Savard in the head. Cooke came from behind on theplay, and Savard didn't see him.

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - J.A. Happ and Phillippe Aumont combinedfor five scoreless innings in the Philadelphia Phillies' 5-3 lossto the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday. Jimmy Rollins homered in the fifthfor Philadelphia.

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - Justin Morneau hit a two-run homer offRoss Ohlendorf in the first inning before the Pittsburgh Piratesrouted a Minnesota Twins split squad 15-5 yesterday. Bobby Crosbyhit a three-run homer of Anthony Crosby in the fourth inning. PedroAlvarez had an RBI triple in the second.

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) - Karon Abraham scored 19 points RobertMorris beat Mount St. Mary's 80-62 last night in the NortheastConference semifinals. Jeremy Goode led Mount St. Mary's with 20points. The second-seeded Colonials will play top seed Quinnipiacin the conference championship Wednesday.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Villanova's Scottie Reynolds is the loneunanimous selection to the All-Big East first team. Reynolds, a6-foot-2 senior guard, led the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 18.8points a game. But it was his penchant for second-half heroics thatkept Villanova in the top 10 all season.
