Brandon Rush had 24 points, and Troy Murphy added 19 pointsfor the Pacers. Jrue Holiday scored 21 points and Samuel Dalembertadded 16 points for the 76ers, who have lost six of eight sinceAllen Iverson left the team for personal reasons.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Simon Gagne scored a tie-breaking power-playgoal in the third period and the Philadelphia Flyers rallied for a3-2 win over the New York Islanders last night. Gagne's goalfinished off the Flyers' comeback from a 2-0 deficit. Jeff Carterand Claude Giroux also scored for the Flyers. John Tavares and KyleOkposo had goals for the Islanders.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Roy Halladay pitched three shutoutinnings and struck out five in his second spring appearance as thePhiladelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 7-4 yesterday.Halladay went 17-10 with a 2.79 ERA for the Blue Jays last season.The Phillies acquired him during the offseason.

(AP) - Nick Johnson hit two home runs while workingon his swing, CC Sabathia gave up five runs trying to refine hismotion and the New York Yankees lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates 12-7yesterday. Johnson was playing for the second straight day aftersitting out with a sore back from last week when he caught a cleatin the turf during batting practice.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Attorneys for the woman who accuses PittsburghSteelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of sexual assault say shedid the right thing by going to police. The woman's lawyersreleased a statement to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette yesterdaysaying she's helping police and ask the media to respect herprivacy by keeping her name out of the press.

KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) - Keith Cothran and Lamonte Ulmer scored 15points apiece as Rhode Island beat Saint Joseph's 87-76 in lastnight's opening round of the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament.Darrin Governs paced Saint Joseph's with 27 points. Fifth-seededRhode Island moves on to play Number 4 seed Saint Louis Friday.

BALTIMORE (AP) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vicksays the team has exercised its 2010 option on him, meaning he'llreceive a $1.5 million roster bonus sometime this week. Thatdoesn't necessarily guarantee he'll return to the Eagles foranother season. Vick was signed as a free agent before last seasonand played sparingly as Donovan McNabb's backup.

OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) - Chris Matthews scored 28 points and AndrewNicholson added 25 as St. Bonaventure beat Duquesne 83-71 lastnight in the first round of Atlantic 10 Conference tournament.Damian Saunders had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Duquesne.

BALTIMORE (AP) - Dozens of protesters yesterday lined up outsidea banquet hall where Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vickreceived the Ed Block Courage Award. It's presented to one playerfrom each NFL team who exemplifies commitment to the principles ofsportsmanship and courage. Vick served 18 months in federal prisonfor his role in a dogfighting ring.
