GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Ben Roethlisberger threw 95 yards to Mike Wallace for the longest pass play in Steelers history and Pittsburgh went on to hand the Arizona Cardinals their fifth consecutive loss, 32-20. Roethlisberger also had TD passes of 12 yards and 4 yards.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward was carted off the field at Arizona yesterday with a sprained ankle. The injury came in the third quarter. Ward ranks 19th in NFL history in yards receiving.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Nose tackle Chris Hoke was among the Pittsburgh players inactive for yesterday's game at Arizona. Hoke is out with a neck injury. With Casey Hampton already sidelined with a shoulder injury, Steve McLendon got his first career start at nose tackle.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Harvard won the men's championship eights yesterday in the Head of the Charles Regatta, the Crimson's first victory in the competition since 1977. Virginia won the women's championship eights. Other winners included the Vesper Boat Club of Philadelphia in the women's championship fours.
