Friday's Games

Atlanta 5, Philadelphia 0

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Derek Lowe took a no-hitter into the seventh
inning and the Atlanta Braves won their sixth straight game,
beating Philadelphia 5-0 despite Cliff Lee's 16 strikeouts for the
Phillies. Shane Victorino singled to start the seventh for the
first hit off Lowe, and Placido Polanco followed with a double.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Atlanta's Derek Lowe limped off the mound
after allowing his first two hits of the game to start the seventh
inning against the Philadelphia Phillies. Lowe appeared to injure
himself when he hit a single in the top of the seventh and advanced
to second on Chipper Jones' hit.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Right-hander Julio Teheran, the top prospect
in Atlanta's system, will make his major league debut against the
Philadelphia Phillies tonight. Teheran, 20, is 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA
in five starts with Triple-A Gwinnett this season, striking out 25
against eight walks while limiting opponents to a .118 batting
average.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Phillies placed pitcher Roy Oswalt on
the 15-day disabled list last night because he has an injured back.
The move is retroactive to April 27, meaning Oswalt is eligible to
return next Thursday. To take his place, the Phillies recalled
right-hander Scott Mathieson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Injured Phillies second baseman Chase Utley
is going to extended spring training. General manager Ruben Amaro
Jr. said before last night's game against the Atlanta Braves that
Utley will play at least one inning in a game at Dunedin, Fla.,
today.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Former New York Mets and Philadelphia
Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra has been indicted by a Los
Angeles federal grand jury in a bankruptcy fraud case. The
48-year-old filed for bankruptcy in 2009, and is accused of later
stealing and selling property from an $18.5 million estate.
Dykstra's attorney says no fraud was committed.

Houston 3, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Neil Walker hit his fourth homer for the
Pittsburgh Pirates in a 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros last night.
Houston managed only five hits over seven innings against Paul
Maholm, but the first three batters of the eighth reached against a
Pittsburgh bullpen that entered with the second-best ERA in the
National League.
