LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles Kings have a four-year deal

Pittsburgh's top shutdown defensive pairing along with Hal Gill,
who has also left the Penguins and signed with the Montreal
Canadiens.

ATLANTA (AP) - Matt Diaz drove in the go-ahead run with an
eighth-inning double as the Atlanta Braves beat Philadelphia 5-2.

their fourth consecutive win and drop the Phillies into a tie with
Florida for first in the NL East.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Ryan Church singled in the go-ahead run in the
10th inning, and the New York Mets beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-8.
