Stanley Cup finals by beating the defending champion Detroit Red
Wings 2-1 last night. Detroit now shoots for its second straight

and Ryan Church all homered.

Escobar hit a two-run single in the seventh, carrying the Atlanta
Braves to a 4-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates last night.
Rafael Soriano got the save.

Reggie Evans to the Toronto Raptors for shooter Jason Kapono. Both
players must pass physicals to complete the trade.
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Four months after beating the Arizona

their Super Bowl Rings. They were issued in a private ceremony last
