PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Adrian Gonzalez made his second career start

when the Boston Red Sox faced the Phillies. Gonzalez made his only
other appearance in right field with the Texas Rangers on September
30th, 2005.
TORONTO (AP) - Brandon Morrow struck out 10 as the Toronto Blue
Jays topped the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1 last night. Rookie

PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Penguins have offered former NHL MVP
Jaromir Jagr a one-year contract. The 39-year-old was a Pittsburgh

championships. The franchise hopes that he will accept the offer,
play at least one season in Pittsburgh, and then retire with the
team he started with.

played in the Ryder Cup and won a World Golf Championship last

resume negotiations.
NEW YORK (AP) - Negotiators for NBA owners and players will meet
